Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Silwood Park, Ascot, Berkshire (nearest train station is Sunningdale).
Type: Permanent
Hours: 9 to 5.30
Salary: £35000 to 45000 Depending on experience

Due to increased demand Frog Bikes is looking for a web developer who can help its current external developer. The role will involve maintenance of our current e-Commerce site as well as development for new projects. Ideal start date is beginning of February.

Key responsibilities

·  Modify and maintain current ASP based website
·  Write mobile friendly Front-end code using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
·  Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
·  Debug code and solve any technical problems quickly and efficiently
·  Working with various different Team Members (internal and external): Digital Marketing, Developer (off-site), Head of Ops and Head of Marketing

Project Examples:   

- Website enhancements
- Landing pages
- App development
- System integrations
- Seasonal competition pages / promotions


·  NET Web Developer skills including ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, Web API,  SQL Server, T-SQL, JavaScript, , jQuery, HTML, CSS, XML (Proven work experience necessary)
·  Experience in developing and writing code to a professional or academic standard
·  An understanding of e-Commerce websites
·  Ability to debug and solve problems efficiently
·  Good project and time management skills
·  Preferably experience of commercial sites
·  Technically minded
·  Good communicator
·  Able to work alone and as part of a team

Polite / confident telephone manner

Ability to work evenings on a semi regular basis (to support North American team) – frequency can be agreed

Qualification in marketing or a related field advantageous

Multi-lingual skills a bonus

An interest in cycling a bonus

This role will report to the Head of Marketing, and work closely with Frog’s marketing team, customer services and sales managers / reps. Possibility of flexible working hours.
